Nedim visualises his message beautifully, emphasising on the gradual change of time during the course of the day and the intensity of emptiness. He wanted to express his ideas through that change. “I try to combine nature’s elements and express them through my interpretations” Through painting and moving image Nadim’s work explores the complex relationships between perceptions, imagination and expression. Bringing Nature’s elements as his core subject of his art, emphasising on the importance of (Change), adding dramatically expressions with a touch of warmth.
“Living in the Netherlands and embracing its nature literally means living with a constant change, every moment has a unique colour of its own and that enriches my imagination. The countless mixture of colours within one day, it is like having 24 seasons in just 24 hours!”. that was his stimulus to absorb the surroundings and translate them into a unique interpretation of art. Growing up in the middle east, living in an arid, dry land and later on moving to live and settle in the Netherlands, a stunning flora and fauna and are moreover an oasis of calm, with such a colourful phenomena, all that added a unique experience for Nedim, something BrandNew that made him attempt to translate his emotions mixed with that of nature. “It really felt like staying in a vast green space of time away from my art studio.
Spending his daytime in nature, experimenting and exploring, taking notes in his little notebook all that and more gave Nedim the urge to mimic nature through his art and analyse the movement of different particles surrounding him, the change of colours from light to dark and from subtle to extreme ones. The Euphoria Nedim gets from the surroundings is phenomenal, “you can't help but feel the urge to create something that captures a moment in time and seems to embody a sheer perfection”. The main issue for Nedim is how to unify his artistic identity to that of nature, it is not about how much effort you put into making art but rather directing people to observe and pay more attention to the surroundings. “All that is impossible to be put in a box, nature as I see it, is an endless labour of love, and my art will always reflect that.
